Avoid, Or If Needed Resolve, Your Business Dispute - episode 2
Email can be a double-edged sword.
Email allows for instantaneous communication. This increases the amount of work that you can produce, both individually and as part of a team.
Email also allows you to instantly confirm, in writing, your understanding of a key conversation.
For example, you discussed your performance with your customer. Your customer agreed that you discharged your contractual obligations. You email your customer to that effect. Ideally, your customer replies by email to confirm their agreement. Even if they do not, the mere fact that you emailed your customer supports your narrative if your customer later disputes your performance.
The more prepared that you are for a battle, the less likely you are to have one.
ACTIVELY, AND ACCURATELY, SEND EMAILS.
